Current Roadworks & Temporary Road Closures

A request has been received from John Paul Construction for the temporary road closure of the following streets to facilitate crane lift operations on the dates and times listed below:

St. Andrew Street (from Trinity Street to Suffolk Street) and Church Lane, Dublin 2 from 20.00hrs on Wednesday 21st January 2015 to 06.00hrs on Thursday 22nd January 2015.

•  Traffic on Trinity Street wishing to travel on St Andrew Street & Church Lane to Dame Street will be diverted via St Andrew Street, South William Street, Johnson Place, Mercer Street Lower, Noel Purcell Walk and Longford Street Little, Aungier Street and South Great George’s Street.
• Pedestrian and local access will be maintained

 New Year’s Eve Festival

Leisure Project Management Ltd T/A Holohan Leisure intends to close the following streets to facilitate the New Year’s Eve Festival event:

Location1:   Foster Place, Dublin 2 from 06.00hrs on Sunday 28th December 2014 to 20.00hrs on Thursday 1st January 2015.

Location 2:  College Green & Dame Street (South Great George’s Street to College Green), Dublin 2 from 06.00hrs on Wednesday
31st December 2014 to 08.00hrs on Thursday 1st January 2015.

Note:           Northbound lane on College Green (Dame Street to Westmoreland Street will be closed from 06.00hrs on Sunday 28th
December 2014 to 20.00hrs on Thursday 1st January 2015.

• Eastbound traffic on High Street/ Nicholas Street will be diverted via Winetavern Street and the North Quays.
• Southbound traffic on D’Olier Street wishing to travel on Nassau Street will be diverted via Townsend Street, Lombard Street and Westland Row.
• West and southbound traffic on College Street wishing to travel on College Green /Dame Street and will be diverted via Westmoreland Street and South Quays.

New Wapping Street (from Sheriff Street Upper to Mayor Street Upper), Dublin 1 from 0.00hrs on Monday 5th January 2015 to 24.00hrs on Friday 3rd April 2015.

• Traffic travelling east or west on Sheriff Street Upper wishing to travel on New Wapping Street to North Wall Quay will be diverted via Castleforbes Road.
• Traffic travelling south on East Road wishing to travel south on New Wapping Street to North Wall Quay will be diverted via Sheriff Street Upper and Castleforbes Road.
