Luas red line to open ahead of schedule

Luas Cross City have advised that the Red Line Tie In Works have progressed well with traffic movements and tram services due to resume ahead of schedule.

The left turn from O’Connell Street onto Middle Abbey Street will be reopened to all traffic on Monday 27th June. Accordingly, all associated temporary traffic management measures, including the Garda presence on Jervis Street to facilitate right turn access on to Abbey Street Upper, will be removed on this date.

Luas Red Line services to Connolly and The Point will resume on Sunday, 3rd July.
