Promoting Your Business Through Irish

  • Thu 27 February, 2025

There are 162,400 people in Dublin who can speak Irish, who (when surveyed) have said that they are more likely to buy from a company that uses the Irish language to market vs. one that does not.

With Seachtain na Gaeilge happening soon, there are some opportunities to help promote your business using the Irish language.

Golden Gaeilge: Bridging Business and Culture

This event brings together businesses and retailers from Dublin City Centre to network, share stories and learn from those effectively using the Irish language in their businesses.

It is run by the Local Enterprise Office and BÁC le Gaeilge.

It’s an opportunity to build connections, exchange ideas and rediscover the supports available from BÁC le Gaeilge (more info below) to help businesses with Irish.

Beyond business development, the event will highlight the power of the Irish language as a unique selling point, a tool for customer engagement and a way to create a vibrant and inclusive retail experience in the heart of the city.

All levels of Irish welcome.

When: 10:30am – 1:00pm, Tuesday March 4th

Where: Lower Ground Floor Middle Room, City Hall Dame St, Dublin, D02 DF20
