UK Import Controls: The Border Target Operating Model (TOM) Update

As you may be aware, the UK introduced the first phase of its Border Target Operating Model customs measures in January 2024.

The second phase will be introduced on April 30th. The new rules impact all Irish traders exporting goods to Great Britain or via the UK landbridge to the rest of Europe and are in addition to the existing formalities that apply when exporting goods from the EU.
