We lobby both local and national government, calling for the resources and support your business needs.
We work alongside Fáilte Ireland, various Government departments, Dublin City Council and An Garda Síochána. We represent the business community on groups like the Taoiseach’s Task Force, the North Inner City Drug and Alcohol Task Force and the Local Community Safety Partnership.
We are in the room on your behalf, pushing for what matters to you. It’s ongoing work, but we’re committed to being your voice.
Taoiseach’s Dublin City Taskforce
We called on the Government to establish a taskforce to bring these elements together and deliver a plan to improve the Dublin city centre experience.
In summer 2024, a Taskforce was established along these lines. Our CEO, Richard Guiney, represented the business community, advocating for the implementation of our Four Point Plan.
Four Point Plan for Dublin City Centre
As Dublin emerged from Covid and the aftermath of the November 2023 riots, we developed a four-point plan to support the city centre’s recovery. Focused on safety, transport and access, regeneration, and waste management, this plan has guided much of the work since, including the development of the Dublin City Taskforce.
Representing the Voice of City Business
We work closely with key stakeholders and decision-makers to ensure the needs of city businesses are understood and represented. By bringing business perspectives into important discussions and initiatives, we help shape the direction and future of the city centre.
